Kathleen has been carving pumpkins since 1976  when she lived in Chadds Ford PA and was invited to take part in The Carve.

She has participated in that carve most years since.

All her carvings are drawn freehand - no stencils.
She uses gouges and a one side razor blade to do much of her carving - and an ice scream scoop and ladle to empty the pumpkin and thin the skin.

Kathleen also carves at the Font Hill, Mercer Museum,  Artist Invitational Carve in Bucks County.

Over the many years, Kathleen has won Best Overall, Best Carving, Most Original and a variety of other awards at the Carves.

In 2015 Hopewell Valley Art Council (NJ) began a Carve and  now that has been added to the annual carving parties she participates in.

Kathleen accepts commissions for Carving Pumpkins for Halloween Parties or other October Events.  This can be demonstrations or display pumpkins.
